Tony Sutton, President & Owner
As President and Owner of Est Est, Inc. for 25 years, Mr. Sutton has literally set the bar for the design standards in the Arizona interior design industry with his innate creativity, professional excellence, client relationships and business ethics. His comprehensive background of design work covers the full spectrum of commercial and residential design, ranging in style from traditional to contemporary. He has a great depth of experience and knowledge of complete project coordination, architectural history, construction, architectural detailing, lighting systems, and other specialized custom items. He continually studies new ideas to broaden his professional knowledge and is considered a leader in the creative interior design discipline. Est Est is also one of the few interior design firms in Arizona to maintain a specialty contractor’s license with the state for both residential and commercial work.
With a BS degree in Interior Design from the University of Illinois, his design career began in Springfield, Illinois before coming to Est Est, Inc. in 1979. He is very passionate about Est Est, Inc.’s design philosophy, professional standing and overall reputation.
As an Allied Member of ASID, he has served on the Board of Directors and has served as a continuing member of the Interior Design Advisory board for Scottsdale Community College. Under Mr. Sutton’s leadership, Est Est, Inc. has developed a positive and on-going relationship with Arizona’s universities to provide the opportunity for student internships for over twenty years. Mr. Sutton also exudes a similar passion for the community that has lead to his involvement with many local charitable organizations and annual fund raising events over the years. He is the former President and an active member of the Board of Directors for the Perimeter Center.
Mr. Sutton’s professional credentials include guest hosting the National Seminar “Masters of the Southwest” on several occasions. He has also been featured numerous times in both “Who’s Who in Interior Design International” and “Who’s Who in the World”. Under Mr. Sutton’s leadership, Est Est has been featured in numerous local and national publications, including Architectural Digest and Western Interiors, along with several hardcover books. He was selected as a “Master of the Southwest” and listed as one of ?Scottsdale’s 50 Most Fascinating People” in Scottsdale’s 50 year history.

Blake Sutton graduated with honors from Arizona State University with an engineering degree in Construction Management. His background in construction includes three years of field experience with both Kitchell Custom Homes and Rowland Luxury Homes. He spent two years on the Montelucia Resort and Spa helping close out the custom Villas. His experience managing multiple sub-contractors while working directly with discerning clients is invaluable. Blake spent his entire life around the design industry. His background in construction helps brings a balance to our design staff that increases our ability to work hand in hand with the best architects and builders in town. Blake is a member of our management team, working with contracts, staffing, customer service, and the execution of our diverse range of projects.
is a graduate of Rider College and also holds a Professional Designation from UCLA in Design. Before joining Est Est, she worked for another reputable firm for ten years. Elaine has been a leading team member with Est Est for eight years and spearheads a number of residential and commercial projects. Elaine brings a diverse creative background to the design field, including working in film production, costume styling, and clothing design for Ralph Lauren. Her projects have been showcased in numerous publications including Phoenix Home & Garden, Arizona Foothills, Luxe and Arizona Home. Elaine continues to demonstrate her versatile creativity, while keeping a strong hold on her worldly eye for design, functionality and longevity. She receives great praise for her work throughout the design community, and has been awarded a number of ASID excellence awards including 1st place awards in 2009 and 2010 for corporate and residential projects.
holds a BS in Interior Design through a combined program of Scottsdale Community College and Northern Arizona University. Holly has been a valued design member with Est Est, Inc. for six years. She provides leadership and partnership on numerous residential and commercial projects throughout Arizona. At the 2010 ASID Awards, Holly won 1st place for a Custom Condo. In addition, Arizona Foothills Magazine awarded Holly Designer of the Year for Kitchen and Bath Design. Holly was featured on television’s “Fine Wine and Design” show for a custom Scottsdale home. Holly has thorough organization, excellent follow through, impeccable drafting abilities, and in-depth AutoCAD knowledge and skills. She also regularly demonstrates the unique ability to take otherwise standard design elements, and turn them into something unique and inspiring. Holly communicates easily and effectively with her clients which, in turn, enables her to achieve the clients’ goals and expectations.
Kacie Lilley, ASID, NCIDQ,
has obtained a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design, from Arizona State University-School of Architecture and Environmental Design. She has been a valued member of our design team for nearly ten years. Mrs. Lilley has continued to further her knowledge in the industry by receiving her NCIDQ certification, and is an active member of ASID. Kacie’s work has recently been featured in numerous publications, including Phoenix Magazine, Arizona Foothills, and Sources and Design. She has impeccable drafting and technical skills, including vast knowledge in AutoCAD. Kacie has a sophisticated eye for design and the natural creativity to produce designs that are timeless, yet cutting edge. She also possesses an innate ability to stay organized and thorough in every aspect of a project, and her attention to detail is unmatched.
Mara Peterson, Allied ASID
Mara is a recent addition to the Est Est, Inc. design team. Mara studied abroad at Richmond American International University in Richmond, England while being part of a professional dance company. Mara discovered her passion for Interior Design during her time in London working for an innovative design buying office, which inspired and sparked her career path. After six years living in London and traveling Europe she returned to the States, pursued her passion for design and has her degree and professional certificate in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College where she received Phi Theta Kappa recognition and high honors. Mara has an excellent work ethic, is genuine with the ability to communicate effectively, and has exceptional AutoCAD and technical skills. Mara’s creativity, education, and life experiences give her a well rounded perspective for client needs.
Lindsay joined the design team at Est Est in November, 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Lindsay had a successful career in fashion merchandising for a major national retailer. Lindsay entered the world of interior design to pursue her long-term passion for design and apply her talents toward interior environments. Lindsay holds a BS in Interior Design from a combined program through Scottsdale Community College and Northern Arizona University. Lindsay has outstanding AutoCAD drafting, hand drafting, and computer rendering skills. Lindsay is extremely meticulous when it comes to details and enjoys implementing an innovative design perspective in her work.
Peggy Parker, ASID, NCIDQ
Peggy received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Upon graduation, Peggy was employed as an Architectural Draftsman and Specifier in Atlanta, Georgia. She was assigned with the exceptional task of reconstructing several fire-damaged churches along the east coast. After moving to Arizona, Peggy honed her design skills in many of Phoenix’s top design firms, including Est Est with a number of her projects featured in Phoenix Home & Garden, Arizona Builder, and Arizona Foothills. Peggy’s skill set expanded when she headed her own commercial and residential design firm in Scottsdale for six years. She had the opportunity to work on projects throughout the country, including Portland, Park City, New York, as well as Mexico. Peggy has rejoined the Est Est team, bringing with her expert drafting and technical experience, as well as a unique ability to gather critical information according to her client’s specific needs. Jessica Moreau, LEED AP, Allied ASID, IIDA
Jessica joined the talent at Est Est in 2009, employing her strong marketing background and B.A. in Communications earned from Arizona State University, and her combined education via Scottsdale Community College and the prestigious New York School of Interior Design. Jessica is an Allied member of ASID, IIDA and a graduate of Scottsdale Leadership. She is an avid globe trotter, art enthusiast, and is a LEED Accredited Professional, demonstrating her passion and awareness for environmentally sensitive design. Jessica’s accolades also include work featured in local and national design publications, two 1st place awards and “Best in Show” for Commercial design in the 2011 ASID Design Excellence Awards. With exceptional AutoCAD drafting, hand drafting and rendering skills, her technical and creative abilities blend seamlessly in her work. Her credentials, both academic and professional, are an example of a well- rounded skill set and progressive approach to the world of design.
Bianca holds a Professional Certificate in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College, as well as a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University. Bianca has been with Est Est, Inc. for over five years and has become a valued member of our design team. She was named one of the Designers of the Year 2010 by Arizona Foothills, and is the recipient of a number of ASID awards of the past two years. Bianca provides leadership and partnership on numerous residential and commercial projects throughout Arizona, and in Mexico. She has excellent drafting and technical skills, creativity, work ethic, and organization. Her innate ability to demonstrate diligence and attention to detail is praised and respected by not only her clients, but also by fellow professionals.
Stacy Charter SCHARF, ASID, NCIDQ
Stacy holds an Associates Degree in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College and a BS in Business Management from Arizona State University. She has been a valued designer with Est Est, Inc. for thirteen years and leads a great deal of residential, commercial and hospitality projects throughout the US, as well as Mexico. Her work has been highlighted various times in such publications as Phoenix Home and Garden and Arizona Foothills. Stacy has also made numerous appearances on “Cool House” on the local FOX morning news show. Stacy has received ASID Designer recognition. She has comprehensive technical skills, creativity, industry knowledge, and an outstanding ability to listen to and understand what her client’s objectives are. All of these abilities, along with a positive and vibrant personality, make Stacy a genuine asset to her clients and to Est Est.
Christy Geninatti obtained a bachelor’s of science degree in interior design as well as a minor in business administration from Northern Arizona University. Realizing her ability to excel in the arts at a young age Christy knew that she would follow a creative career path. Before coming to Est Est in July of 2011 Christy worked for a large corporation in the marketing industry, gaining experience in budgeting, efficiency and punctuality. She is now pursuing her passion for design and has a fresh outlook on interiors. Being extremely detail oriented as well as organized Christy excels in the ability to effectively communicate with clientele. She is extremely observant and has great recall helping to carry out spaces just as they are designed. Her creative nature and space planning abilities enable her to propose unique and tasteful design solutions. Christy is proficient in AutoCAD, as well as hand and computer drafting and rendering.
Ashlyn Jones, LEED Green Associate,
Ashlyn joined the Est Est design team in May 2011 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Arizona State University. Ashlyn has always had a love of creativity, an artistic eye, and passion for originality, which led her to pursue a career in the design field. Ashlyn has earned a LEED Green Associate certification and is extremely interested in implementing environmentally friendly design solutions. In addition to globally sensitive design, she believes functionality, versatility and innovation are important design concepts. Her overall design perspective and comprehensive educational background, combined with her diligent organization skills, ability to effectively articulate and communicate ideas, and proficiency in a variety of computer drafting and rendering programs, allows Ashlyn to be a well-rounded and talented design professional and a valuable asset to the Est Est team.
